As American patriots who fully appreciate and enjoy the blessings of liberty secured to us by our forefathers, we unite behind the Convention of States Project, an effort to use the constitutional power of the states to impose limitations on the power and scope of our overreaching federal government.
As United States veterans, each of us took an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” and to “bear true faith and allegiance to the same.” Today, the greatest threat to our Constitution is a highly-centralized federal government that regularly exceeds the limitations of its specifically enumerated constitutional powers, thereby invading the jurisdiction of the states, infringing upon the people’s liberty, and threatening our country with financial disaster.
Because the U.S. Supreme Court has endorsed, rather than corrected, a wide variety of perversions of constitutional text in upholding federal power grabs, we embrace the means of reform provided to the people by our Founding Fathers in Article V. Just as we have sacrificed our physical safety in defense of our great nation, now we purpose to sacrifice our time and energy in re-asserting our rights of self-governance and restoring the original design of federalism contained in our Constitution.

I pledge to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution in its entirety--including its grant of power to the people, through their state legislatures, to use Article V to protect our nation from an abusive, overreaching federal government—and I pledge to educate my friends, family members, and neighbors about the importance of using this constitutional tool to protect our liberty.
Dear Legislator, Our federal government is on a dangerous course. I believe it's time for real solutions. Please support calling a Convention of States to place fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials.
