Chattanooga Meeting – 1787 Revisited

Thank you for being part of the grassroots army that powers the COS Project. We have a country to save and we all need each other to make that happen!

This will be the first in a series of presentations on the 1787 Constitutional Convention. In this presentation, we will review the events leading up to it, the authority under which it was called and the powers given to the commissioners. All of this will be done using quotes directly from Founding documents.

In future presentations in the series, we will discuss how the Constitution was crafted in Philadelphia, how Article V was developed throughout the convention and how the Constitution was ratified.

At this meeting, we will also set in motion our ambitious plans for the rest of 2016 and our exciting plans for the 2017 General Assembly, including what you can do to educate and influence your local State Senators and State Representatives to support our legislative goals – to be announced at the meeting!
