South Central Regional Meeting

The South Central Regional Meeting will be on Saturday, March 12, 2016, 8:30 AM -10:30 AM (CST) at The Club at Kings Chapel – Billiard Room, 4980 Meadowbrook Blvd, Arrington, TN 37014, (615) 579-2302.

Directions: Turning off Hwy 96, enter the left lane at the guard shack. If the guard shack is manned, you can inform them that you are there as a guest for a private meeting in the Club House. (If the guard shack is unmanned and the barrier is down, Code #1995 should open the barrier.) After passing the guard shack, immediately turn left into the parking lot for the Club House. The Billiard Room is in the basement of the Club House. You can enter following the sidewalk to the left of the Club House and entering through the door in the walkout basement.

1)  Background on Article V and the Convention of States Project.

2) Who's who?  (Organization), including brief status reports from each Regional Captain.

3)  Our application passed.  Now what?   Our Goals for 2016, including reports from our Committee Leaders:

-- Helping other states pass the COSP resolution.

-- Software to manage the organization

-- Software to collect and collate input

-- Developing delegate selection criteria and slate of proposed delegates

-- Developing delegate instructions

-- Developing convention rules

-- Developing proposed amendments

4) I'm eager to help!   What can I do?

5) I've heard about District Captains.  What do they do?

6) How the Tennessee General Assembly works.  (Lessons learned as well).

7) Possible:   Constitution Training.
