Our New Hampshire Convention of States Article V application (SCR4) is being considered
by the Rules, Enrolled Bill, and Internal Affairs Committee this Thursday, January 14th
at 1:10 PM in Room 103.
Directions to the New Hampshire State House Parking is very difficult on legislative days. A reliable and close parking garage can be found
at 51 Storrs St. Parking is $.50 per hour and there is walking access to main street on the third
floor of the parking structure. Look for the Sign for the Capital Commons Parking Garage. We need as many volunteers as possible to show support at this hearing! There are two ways you can help:
1. Attend the hearing to show your support. 2. Testify at the hearing in support of SCR4. Please join us in showing up, standing up, and speaking up for the restoration of self-governance
through this constitutional process! Here are the details: If you are willing to testify please contact me ASAP to discuss the topic you plan to speak on.
We have scripts to help you craft your message. Please remember to keep your testimony
brief and to the point. Business Attire is recommended. And if you intend to make a
prepared statement, please bring a copy to leave with the Secretary to facilitate entry
into the record. You will need to sign in as you enter the hearing room indicating you support SCR4.
If you want to speak fill out a separate card indicating your support.
Where to meet:
We will meet as a group at the Brown Bag Deli, directly across the street from the State Capital
Building at 12:15. We will have scripts for talking points for folks that want help. We will walk
over the State Capital at 12:45 to sign in for the hearing prior to 1:00PM. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FROM THESE DISTRICTS!!!! The members of the Rules, Enrolled Bills and Internal Affairs Committee are listed below. The more
volunteers we can have attend that live in these districts the better. If you know any COS supporters
